The PreciseBits 'DeepReach' line of carbide tooling features a unique fish tail point that eliminates backside breakout and splintering. The 3-Flute design reduces resonance and chatter under high chip loads while the high flute volume supports high feed rates / chip loads while the high aspect ratio allows for deep single-pass cutting. The flute geometry optimized for cutting sign foam, sign board, gator board, western red cedar, redwood and selected hardwoods. A good choice for application like: dimensional signage, 3D contouring, cabinetry, furniture making, and jewelry mold making.
Note: The precision bushings are no longer available. To use these bits on a CarveWright you will need a chuck that will accept 1/8" shank tools. We are working on a high precision adapter to let you use 1/8" shank tools and hope to have it available early 2013. Specifications
