Tapered Carving tools for 3D carving
NEW: These fabulous PreciseBits brand bits are now available in three different styles all with an optional ZrN coating. All bits have a 1/4" shank and are available with a 1/16", 1/8"  and 1/4" ball-nose tip.

A high quality 4-flute solid micro-grain carbide tapered cutting tool designed for 3D machine carving. The high-shear ball nose tip cuts smooth 3D contours with reduced stepping and minimal 'fuzz'. This bit also features a high flute volume for high feed rates and the high aspect ratio allows for single pass deep-reach cutting.

A great choice for such applications as dimensional signage, precision 3D carving, 3D contouring, cabinetry and furniture making, 3D mill-work, etc. The 1/16" bit is also a drop in replacement for the CarveWright and CompuCarve carving bit.
