The MM3I8 series of carbide end mills from PreciseBits are 3-flute standard length carbide tools designed for materials such as woods and plastics. They are compatible with most materials used in inlay and intarsia.

The 'fishtail' tip helps to eliminate backside breakage and splintering while the 3-flute design eliminates chatter due to increased rigidity. The cutting geometry is tuned to all aspects of inlay pocket cutting and component shaping work.
