NEW! The Taig CNC mill is now available with ballscrews! The ballscrews are precision matched with the ball bearings to provide nearly zero backlash and low friction operation. If you currently have a Taig 2019CR-ER you can upgrade it to the ballscrew version in a couple of different ways. For a limited time we are offering introductory prices on these items!
5019CR-ER
This is the complete CNC ready mill with the ballscrew upgrade, it does not include stepper motors or a control box. This is a good option if you want to by the basic computer ready mill and build up your own stepper motors and control box. If you currently have a Taig 2019CR-ER based leadscrew mill this would also be an upgrade path. You can unbolt your motors from your existing leadscrew mill and bolt them up to this new ballscrew mill; you would then have you complete old leadscrew mill to sell or maybe to use as a manual mill.
5019CR-Kit
This is the all the parts you need to upgrade your existing 2019CR-ER based leadscrew mill to ballscrews on all three axis.This option includes a new XY base and X axis screw and truck assembly. You reuse your Z axis ways, headstock and spindle. Take note that for the ball screw mill we recommend the 276oz-in stepper motors as they are a better match.
