The Taig 1225 vise is intended for use with the manual lathe’s milling attachment. Instead of having a large handle it uses a thumb screw which won’t get in the way of things. If you have another application where the vise handle might get in the way then this also might work for you.

The Taig 2225 vie is the same unit with a traditional crank handle.
