The MeanWell SP-320 series of power supplies are rock solid performers. They are a great power supply for use on smaller CNC machines. The 48V versions (SP-320-48) is a great match for the venerable Gecko G540, while the 24V version (SP-320-24) is a great choice for many small servo systems.
They feature full protection from over-load, over-temperature and over-voltage. In fact you can directly short the output terminals and the hiccup type protection will happily wake the power supply back up when the short is removed. (But hey kids don't try this at home!) The built in fan keeps the unit cool even under full load for hours.
