The Drill chuck arbor is used to mount a drill chuck to the headstock spindle. The drill chuck arbor has a 3/4-16 I.D. thread that screws onto the spindle and a 3/8-24 thread for the drill chuck to screw onto. With this arrangement, you can drill a hole while using the Milling attachment.
